Serving Size: 2
Recommended Cooking Gear:
- Air Fryer
- Large & small mixing bowls
Ingredients needed:
- 2lbs of chicken wings
- 1 tbsp Hola Island Jamaican marinade
- 2 tbsp oil of choice
- ¼ cup of sriracha
- orange zest (half an orange)
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ¼ cup of maple syrup
- Sesame seeds for topping
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine your oil of choice with Hola Island marinade (we love Jamaican for a spicy kick or Cuban for a citrusy twist).
- Pat your chicken dry and evenly coat your wings in the marinade mixture.
- Let them marinate for up to 3 hours.
- Get saucy! In a separate bowl, mix Huy Fong Sriracha, orange zest, minced garlic cloves, and maple syrup (our secret ingredient!).
- Air fry or bake for 40 mins (20 mins per 1lb of chicken). Check your wings in 20-25 min intervals to rotate the pan or flip the wings for an even cook and perfect crispiness.
- Toss those piping hot wings evenly in your sauce, garnish with sesame seeds, and enjoy!

“What temp should the air fryer be?” – Sarah
Hola Island Team: We do ours at 350 and crank it up to 400 for a nice crisp at the end. Keep in mind that all air fryers are different so you want to make sure you check them every 10 -15 minutes the first time you cook them to get a feel for how your air fryer works!
